If you’re looking for a
Broker that loves where he lives, look no further! Bob Armstrong grew up
in the Rowland Heights area of California. He lived for a brief time in
South Orange County (El Toro) before moving to Bishop, CA. There he fell
in love with the small town life. He moved to our area in 1981 and has
stayed ever since.
Bob has been a successful business owner for over 25 years
operating restaurants in Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, Ramona, and Blythe. In
1999 Bob, along with his father Wayne, diversified their businesses to
include a Real Estate brokerage, AFG Realty, Inc. In 2003 Bob and his
father expanded the real estate business along with younger brother
Steve to include AAA Property Management. In 2004 they again expanded
and opened Crestmont Financial, a mortgage brokerage, in partnership
with American Pacific Mortgage Company. In late 2005 Bob’s father passed
away and Bob assumed the position of Broker of record and president of
all the business entities.
Bob learned in Bishop the importance of giving back to the
community and becoming a part of a community. Bob has been active in our
local chamber of commerce (vice-president), Red Cross (founding Board
member), and has served as an elected official on the Board of Directors
of the Hi Desert Water District for 12 years, retiring in 2005 (serving
6 years as President). Bob continues to donate time and money to local
non profit groups and local government boards.
Bob lives in Yucca Valley. He has two daughters. Emily, who
currently attends the University of Nevada at Las Vegas as an accounting
major and Eleanor who attends Community College in Henderson, Nevada.
Bob is familiar with our public school system along with all four of the
private schools in our area. In his free time Bob can be found enjoying
flying his Cherokee 6, cruising in his 1965 Malibu SS convertible,
riding his Harley Fat Boy, RVing, and if time permits, traveling!
Bob is committed to offering the best available service to
his clients. With a thorough knowledge of our area along with a working
understanding of our local government agencies, Bob can offer guidance
and advice on the purchase of an existing home, the construction of a
new home, commercial purchases and business opportunities
