HISTORY:
AFG Realty started business in April 2000, but our roots go back over 26 years in Southern California. AFG is the initials of the Armstrong Family Group. The Armstrong Family Group was originally comprised of Wayne and Deanna Armstrong, and Bob and Kolleen Armstrong. Wayne and Bob (father and son) had been business partners in various retail and real estate ventures. In addition to AFG Realty, the Armstrong’s own and operate the two Del Taco restaurants in Yucca Valley and have various rental properties. Wayne was the principle attorney in Armstrong and Associates, a law firm he founded in 1993 in Yucca Valley. Armstrong and Associates primarily focus on real estate, business and corporate law. Mr. Wayne Armstrong passed away in the fall of 2005. AFG Realty maintains a main office in Yucca Valley just south of where State Highway 62 and State Highway 247 converge. Deanna Armstrong oversees the management of our offices. Brother Stephen Armstrong is the Vice President of Operations. Biographies can be found on the site for both Bob and Stephen.

BROKER:
Our broker, Bob Armstrong, is a successful business owner for over 25 years operating restaurants in Yucca Valley, Blythe, Ramona, and 29 Palms. Bob has been active in our local chamber of commerce (vice-president), Red Cross (founding Board member), and retired after 12 years as an elected official on the Board of Directors of the Hi Desert Water District, serving 6 years as President. In addition to his business activities, Bob remains active in state water politics.

MANAGER:
Stephen Armstrong is a graduate of Redlands University with a business degree. After many years in the restaurant business, Stephen joined the family real estate business. Stephen is a Broker and oversees the operation of the AFG Realty businesses including AAA Property Management.

AREA OF EXPERTISE:
AFG Realty specializes in the Hi Desert communities of Southern California. We are a member of the Desert Area Association of Realtors (Palm Springs, Coachella Valley area), Desert Community Board of Realtors (Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley area) and Victor Valley Board of Realtors (Victorville, Apple Valley area). With membership in these Boards we have access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) for most communities from Phelan in the north to Salton Sea in the south.
